Most citizens of foreign countries are required to obtain a Visitor Visa to enter Canada.
Visitor visas are temporary visas that allow you to come to Canada temporarily for business, tourism, or family visits.
Some individuals are eligible to travel to Canada without a visa through the Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). To participate in this program, travelers must apply online and be approved before boarding a flight to Canada.
For a flat fee of $90, MyVisaUSA offers you full support in compiling and submitting your Canadian Visitor Visa application. This one-time cost covers everything from application preparation to interview appointment setting, along with customized support throughout the process. There is also a separate $100 filing fee payable directly to the Canadian government, for which we'll provide directions on when and how to settle.
After we’ve reviewed, improved, and submitted your visa application (Form IMM 5257) on your behalf, the next step is to schedule the Visa interview. The wait times for interview appointments differ by country, but in all cases we schedule you for the very next available appointment. You can see the most up-to-date wait times here. In some cases you may be eligible to request an expedited appointment.
Your visa interview will occur at the Canadian Embassy or consulate where you chose to file your application (note: you can choose to file your application at any embassy or consulate in the world, even if you don’t live there, so that you can get your visa faster). During your interview, a consular official will question you about your planned trip to Canada, your life in your home country, and your past immigration history. During the interview, the consular office may ask you to verify details of your IMM 5257 and/or ask to see the supporting documentation that you brought to the interview.
MyVisaUSA (nor any other visa assistance company) cannot guarantee that your Canadian Visitor Visa application will be approved. While we can improve your chances of approval, the decision rests with the Canadian government and the Canadian government alone.
Our process, during which we analyze and improve your application through AI and human review, is designed to maximize the chances of your visa being approved. In addition, we offer comprehensive preparation for your Canadian Visitor Visa interview, including live practice sessions and a preparation guide from experts trained by a former consular officer.
Numerous factors can affect your visa application’s chance of approval, which is why we create a specialized plan for each individual. To understand your risk and to help us get started on your custom visa plan, take our online assessment of rejection risk.
While the vast majority of applicants are approved, some may be denied a visa by the consular officer (who makes the decision on behalf of the Canadian government). It’s almost always possible to apply again, and many applicants who are denied the first time have better success the second time.
Because of this, MyVisaUSA helps you re-apply for free if your Canadian Visitor Visa is denied. In this case, we’ll work with you to improve any deficiencies on your application before helping you reapply (note: While you will not have to pay another fee to MyVisaUSA, you will have to pay the visa application fee to the government each time).
